Alana Carvalho, the founder of The Codependent Perfectionist framework, is a licensed mental health counselor with a passion for healing codependency and transforming relationships. After earning her Masters of Education in Psychological Counseling at Columbia University, she started her work in a substance abuse treatment center and later founded her private practice, Alana Carvalho Therapy, in New York City. In 2015, she co-created Intuitive Healing, providing a wide range of therapeutic services. With over ten years of experience, Alana has developed various approaches to therapy, including individual, couples, and group sessions, and has extended her reach through a podcast, oracle cards, and a book.
